The Ancient Of Days - Daniel 7:9
Ancient Of Days. Daniel 7:9
Inspired from the remarkable prophetic vision of the Prophet Daniel in Daniel 7:9
God the Father (Elohim Adonai)reveals himself, in a discourse of such power and righteousness.
He is revealed upon his throne of fire, which is spewing forth a river of volcanic embers of power.
God and His throne are one.
Daniel 7:9 I beheld till thrones were placed, and one that was ancient of days did sit: his raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, and the wheels thereof burning fire.
7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousands of thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
7:11 I beheld at that time because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake; I beheld even till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed, and it was given to be burned with fire.
7:12 And as for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
7:13 I saw in the night-visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like unto a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
I also can relate this image to Gods Love, most importantly as in Song of Solomon:
Songs of Solomon 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thy heart, As a seal upon thine arm: For love is strong as death; Jealousy is cruel as Sheol; The flashes thereof are flashes of fire, A very flame of Jehovah.
Songs of Solomon 8:7 Many waters cannot quench love, Neither can floods drown it: If a man would give all the substance of his house for love, He would utterly be contemned.
